An occurrence about 1.5 km (1.0 mile) SE of Leadfield (mining ghost town) at the head of Titus Canyon.
NOTE: There are no mining-related symbols on the topo map for the main channel Titus Canyon near its head. Actually, the canyon originates in Nevada and the head is not in Inyo County. The South Fork of the canyon does have several mining symbols near its head. There are a total of 4 adit symbols, 1 shaft symbol and 2 prospect pit symbols. The coordinates provided are for the adit symbol (near the shaft) in the middle of the symbols array.
