A former small W-Cu mine located in sec. 19, T19S, R41E, MDM, 1.6 km (1.0 mile) ENE of Darwin, in Custer Canyon. Last prospecting was done 1955. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters. Corrected description and position N36.27387 W117.57507 by Richard Muster, courtesy Walt Margerum. This mine may have been operated in conjunction with the nearby Custer Mine.

The fault zone contains minor Scheelite and secondary copper minerals. Local rocks include Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 2 (SE California Carbonate Assemblage).

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of an open pit, about 50 x 15 feet and 20 feet deep, a shaft 50 feet deep and an adit. Access to the adit is blocked by the vertical shaft. More shallow shafts and cuts had been dug but they have all caved in over the years.
