Cave in the Upper Miocene calcareous rocks (Marines de Migjorn i de Llevant unit), located southeast of Road Ma 4014 and to the north-northwest of Cala Falcó, between Porto Cristo and Porto Colom. Cova des Pont (i.e. Bridge Cave) was named after a bridge, which was built in front of the entrance to reach the cave. Before there was an 8m deep drop to the entrance. This cave was discovered in 1884 and developed as a show cave in 1897, because of an agriculture fair in Manacor.
