Silver mine near Gümüşköy village. Note: There is also a Gümüşköy village in Aydin Province.

Apparently "represents one of the largest silver reserve in Turkey and in the world having estimated reserves of 640 million oz of silver".

The mine is operated by Eti Gümüs A.S. a subsidiary company of Yildizlar SSS Holding A.S.

The company produced 283t of pelleted silver from its Gümüşköy mine in Kütahya Province, following a large-scale expansion of the plant in 2008. This mine is the largest silver mine in Europe and satisfies approximately 80% of internal Turkish primary silver demand.
