Closed and partly reclaimed Upper Cretaceous sandstone quarry. Since 1993 in the Park Narodowy Gór Stołowych (Table Mountains National Park).

Stołowe Mountains = Germ: Heuscheuergebirge, Czech: Stolové hory - former Hejšovina, a mountain range in the Central Sudetes. Uplifted 30 million years ago, they are one of the few plate mountains in Europe. The plates of Upper Cretaceous sandstone are arranged horizontally - hence the name of the mountains, because they are flat like a table.
