Old quarry on the western side of hill Kopka 343m (Germ. Hockenberg).
Cretaceous sandstones (Coniac and Santon, prevoiusly Emscher) between Nowa Wieś Grodziska and Czaple. Generally a part of the strip of Cretaceous sandstone stretching from Jerzmanice Zdrój (Złotoryja) through Pielgrzymka, Twardocice to Czaple. The sandstones in many places pierced by numerous volcanic basalt chimneys. Here remaining of basalt mini-quarry between houses No 11-12 in Czaple. Exploatation of sandstones lasts over 100 years.
