Locality type:
Graphite deposit that is located between Tra Khuc and Tra Bong rivers, 21 km northwest of Tam Ky town with an area of 92 km2, trending east-west, 12 km long and 7.5 km wide. 12 km2 of this deposit area were preliminary prospected in the period between 1983 and 1986.
There are six clusters of ore bodies, distributed in length of 12km, at a width of 9km.
Orebodies are located in the southern side of Hung Nhuong, which is formed by sillimanite-granate schist, quartzite intruded by aplite granite and pegmatite of Kontum uplifted block.
