Structure: Gentle SW Dip Less Than 30 Ft/Mi

Tectonics: Interior Basin; Deltaic Red Bed Margin

Deposit: The crisfield ss is about 30 ft thick. The upper 3 ft contains malachite. Outcrop fay (1973) examined area and took pictures. Malachite occurs in crisfield sandstone member of salt plains formation.

Geology: Geology by morton (1980). The crisfield ss is about 30 ft thick, occurring about 65 to 95 ft above base of salt plains fm, where the salt plains fm is about 160 ft thick. The upper 3 ft of the crisfield contains malachite.
