A lode Au occurrence/prospect(s) located in the SE¼ sec. 17 & in the NE¼ sec. 20, T6N, R11E, MDM, 0.9 km (0.6 mile) E of Martell, on private land. Property consisted of 1 claim. Operated by Mark Eudey. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Property was included in the holdings of the Kennedy Mine.

Mineralization is hosted in greenstone and slate. The ore body strikes NW and dips NE at a thickness of 2.13 meters. The footwall is greenstone and the hanging wall is slate with a fissure vein between the walls that is 4 to 7 feet thick. A second vein was found at depth and is 1 to 6 feet thick and well-defined. That second vein carries a fair amount of sulfides and some free gold. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings comprised of a 100 foot shaft on the vein. The second vein was encountered at depth in this shaft with a 200 foot drift.
