A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the SE¼ sec. 14, in the NE¼ sec. 23 & in the NW¼ sec. 24, T7N, R10E, MDM, about 2.3 km NE of Drytown, E of Dry Creek, on private land. Owned by W.F. Detert (estate) (1953). Operated between 1850 and 1890. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains). No geologic description.

Workings include underground openings comprised of a 750 foot shaft with 6 levels.

No production was recorded.
