A placer Au occurrence located in sec. 8, T5N, R12E, MDM, about 3.35 km WNW of Jesus Maria and about 2.65 km E of Mokelumne Hill (town), at Happy Valley. Property consisted of 55 acres. Owned by Theresa Guiffra. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada) and/or Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range).
