A Mo-W-Cu occurrence located in the NW¼ (estimated) sec. 11, and in sec. 12, T9S, R29E, MDM, 1.8 km (6,000 feet) W of Emerald Peak, on the E side of Goddard Canyon, along the South Fork San Joaquin River, on National Park Service land (Sequoia-Kings Canyon Wilderness; Kings Canyon National Park). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is tactite in metamorphosed volcanics, hosted in marble and hornfels. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 3 (Mojave Desert, Death Valley area, and Eastern Sierra Nevada).
