A Hg occurrence/prospect located in the NE¼ sec. 10, T31S, R36E, MDM, 2.4 km (1.5 miles) SW of Chuckwalla Mountain (coordinates of record) (3½ miles WSW of Cinco). Owned by Harvey and Mildred Crawford (1958- ). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in metasedimentary rock. The ore body is tabular in form, strikes N50W and dips vertically. Deposit involves a roof pendant (septum) in granitic rock. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include unspecified surface and underground openings with an overall length of 12.19 meters and an overall width of 1.83 meters. A 2-chamber furnace, 2 retorts on site (1958).

Analytical data results: 0.025% Hg, or less.
