A W occurrence/group of claims located in sec. 36, T3S, R25E, MDM, 0.7 km (8,900 feet) WNW of Beck Lakes (coordinates of record), at the head of Iron Creek, on National Forest wilderness land (Ansel Adams Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a quartz vein deposit hosted in micro-pegmatite granite. The vein strikes N and dips 45E at a width of 6 inches to 3 feet, and a length of 2,000 feet. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include unspecified underground openings.
