A former lode Au mine located in sec. 18 and/or 23, T31N, R6W, MDM, 2.9 km (9,400 feet) NE of Grouse Mountain (coordinates of record), along the South Fork Clear Creek, about 2¼ - 3 miles NE of Igo. Property is comprised of 1 claim. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. NOTE: There are 3 MRDS files which apparently pertain to this location. MRDS file #10103035 states that the section (18) is projected, and may account for a possible discrepancy in the T&R values regarding the section.

Mineralization is hosted in slate and granitoid rocks. The ore body strikes N20E and dips W at a thickness of 0.91 meters. Quartz carries abundant sulphides. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 1 (Eastern Klamath Mountains) and/or Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 5 (Klamath Mountains).

Workingas include underground openings and are comprised of a shaft 90 feet deep on one short ore shoot.

Production: A little high-grade ore was extracted.
