A former placer Au-Ag mine located in sec. 19, T35N, R8W, MDM, 2.8 km (9,200 feet) NW of Estrellita, on the divide between Mule Creek and Little Mule Creek, just N of their confluence, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 1 (Trinity Ophiolite).
