Muscovite from
Cane River Mine (Cane Hill mine; Cano; Highams), Mount Stuart Station, Ashburton Shire, Western Australia, Australia

Locality type:Mine
Notes:Location uncertain. Maitland states the mine is 2.5 miles south of the Red
Hill mine location, and 2 miles south of the Rundle Hill location. One or both is incorrect. Marston states Cane Hill mine is 5 kilometres from Red Hill but in what direction is not mentioned. He further states maps at the time (1979), show the Cane Hill mine one kilometre further north of its actual position. Co-ordinates are as stated in Marston.
