A series of small mines originally for gold in the steep Shoalhaven Gorge area.
The Tolwong Block-up Company worked ground on the opposite side of the Shoalhaven River.
Located on the eastern side of the Shoalhaven River, approximately 10 kms south-south-east of Marulan (located in Argyle Co.).
