Loring Cove, Perry, Washington Co., Maine, USA
Amygdaloidal basalt. (This site is usually referred to as the "Perry Agate locality" or "Loring Cove Agate locality," however, the quality of agate and related materials is generally poor. There are a few interesting micromount zeolite and related minerals which are uncommonly found.) The calcite fillings of amygdules are sometimes fluorescent red.
