Deposit: Lower workings of the mine are separated by a carbonate sequence that is unconformably below the callville-pakoon. Ore occurs entirely on the bottoms of caves. 5 large caves & 15 smaller ones have been found. The caves are inner-connected. The largest cave is 120 x 30 x 20 ft. Worked continuously until 1907 with most of the ore being produced prior to 1880. Ore value to 1885 valued at $270,000. Last production 1949
Development: The chief group consists of 2 shafts and an adit about 2000 feet north of the cave adit. The shafts follow a 2 ft vein 60 feet at 45 deg. The vertical shaft is 200 feet deep and connects with the incline by drifts
