Transparent bright-blue blades, sometimes intergrown into broader blades, and as aggregates of pale-blue scales.

Geological Setting of Type Material:
Probably formed as a secondary low-temperature product of hydrothermal reworking of boron-bearing manganese-oxide ore (gaudefroyite).
