Super small galena cube resting on prehnite. I took a 10lb rock home with a tight prehnite seam in it. After busting it open, this little galena cube appeared. The rest of the rock was junk. Galena is pretty rare for this quarry, so I am happy with the find. 2x1.5x.5"

Mordenite on stilbite. This is one of five from a pocket on a very large boulder. This piece was from the edge, were the prehnite and pyrite was not present. However, there was a lot more stilbite present. The damage to the mordenite was probably due to rain... it was super fragile when moist. 4.5x2.5x2"

Mordenite on Prehnite. There is minor stilbite and pyrite on the edges. I got a total of 5 specimens from a 4x5x4' boulder. Luckily, it was towards the edge of the boulder, so they all came off.

Pyrite weathering to chrysocolla. This is the coolest specimen I own from 10 years (20 times) collecting in the quarry. 5x3x3" It was found as is... I didn't even have to wash it off... straight into the glass display case.

Datolite, byssolite, and prehnite (at the base of the crystals). This was collected by me on my first trip into the quarry in 2013. It was from a 2' squarish boulder that had a lot of white spots on it. I busted it open to find that the spots were completely filled in pockets of actinolite (byssolite). The boulder had 3 small pockets that were not solid. This was from the largest. 4x1.5x1.5"
