A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in secs. 25 & 26, T16N, R8E, MDM, about 1 mile E of Grass Valley, on private (patented) land. The property comprises 3.40 acres. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is hosted in serpentinite. The ore body dips 30-34N at a thickness of 0.61 meter. The vein is 20 to 24 inches (50 to 60 cm) thick. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings with an overall depth 36.58 meters.
