A reported Au occurrence located in sec. 1, T15N, R8E, MDM, 0.9 km (0.6 mile) ENE of La Barr Meadows, on the S end of the crest of Osborne Hill. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
