Vimperk (German: Winterberg) is a town and municipality in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

Vimperk is situated in the Šumava National Park in the Volyňka River valley among the foothills of the Boubín Mountains. The town elevation is about 700 metres above sea level.
