Deposit: Claim was located in 1859. Shaft was sunk in 1860, encountering some low-grade ore. Good ore was found in 1861,1862,1864, but flooding in 1866 forced it to close down. Reopened in 1871 with adjoining claims acquired - but no ore found more good ore was found in 1875. Production was small anderratic. ; info.src : 2 unpub rept
