A former lode Au-Ag mine located in sec. 31, T10N, R21E and in sec. 6, T9N, R21E, MDM, 0.8 km (2,800 feet) S of Colorado Hill and 1.3 km (4,300 feet) W of Loope, along Monitor Creek (2½ miles W of Hennan Lake, S of the Lincoln Mine) on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in Pliocene andesite. Deposit is a silicified zone in altered volcanic rock. Alteration is local (silicification). Local rocks include Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 548 foot adit, which was discontinued several hundred feet short of the ledge (Ireland, 1888).
