An Fe occurrence/prospect located in sec. 36, T29N, R11E, and in sec. 29, T29N, R12E, MDM, 4.7 km (2.9 miles) NE of Diamond Mountain, along Lassen Creek (5 miles S of Susanville), on private land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a float Fe deposit. The ore body is 12.9 meters wide and 76.2 meters long. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
