A former lode Au-Cu-Ag occurrence/mine located in the N½SW¼ sec. 32, T16N, R14E, MDM, 4.5 km (2.8 miles) NNE of Sunflower Hill (coordinates of record) (10 miles SE of Soda Springs Station; 1 mile SE of Snow Mountain), on private land within a National Forest wilderness area (Granite Chief Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in diabase. The ore body strikes NW and dips SW at a thickness of 6.1 meters. The vein is 20 feet thick and carries sulfides. Local rocks include Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range).
Workings include underground openings with a length of 15.24 meters and an overall depth of 30.48 meters and comprised of a shaft, inclined shaft and a tunnel (adit ??) (the topo map reflects 2 prospect symbols NW of the Lost Emigrant Mine).

Production estimated at less than 100,000 pounds of Cu mined. No official production record was found.
