A former lode Cu-Au-Ag mine located in sec. 14, T26N, R11E, MDM, 2.5 km (8,100 feet) NW of Wheeler Peak (coordinates of record), along Davis Creek, on National Forest land. Located 9 miles from Viramont. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit, hosted in diorite. The ore body is 2.74 meters thick and 91.44 meters long. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 5 (Northern Sierra Nevada and Eastern Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings. Underground workings total 91.44 meters deep with a 300 foot deep shaft and several hundred feet of tunnels (over 600 feet).
