A former Pb-Ag occurrence/mine located in the E½NE¼NW¼ sec. 31, T25S, R45E, MDM, 11.4 km (7.1 miles) N of Straw Peak (coordinates of record), on formerly ?) private (patented) land on military reservation land (China Lake Naval Weapons Center). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 3 (Mojave Desert, Death Valley area, and Eastern Sierra Nevada).

Workings include unspecified surface and underground openings (the topo masp reflects an apparent 5 adit symbols labeled "New York Mine" at this point).
