A former Au occurrence/mine located in the SW¼NE¼ & in the NW¼SE¼ sec. 16, T2N, R3E, SBM, 2.2 km (1.4 miles) ENE of Tip Top Mountain (coordinates of record), on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in alkali-granite (alaskite). Au-bearing alaskite dikes occur in contact zone between mica schist and granite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) and/or Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.

Workings include underground openings comprised of a 150 foot adit, now inaccessible.
