A former Au occurrence/mine located in the S½ sec. 24 & in sec. 25, T21N, R9E, MDM, 1.3 km (0.8 mile) ESE of Queen City and 2.0 km (1.3 miles) WNW of Morristown (Eureka District), along the W canyon wall of Canyon Creek (3½ miles SE of La Porte), on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range) and/or undivided pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
Workings include underground openings comprised of an adit.
