A former Hg mine located in sec. 18, T37N, R12W, MDM, 1.5 km (4,900 feet) E of the Marysville site, along Slide Creek (1 mile E of old Denny), on Bureau of Land Management/National Forest wilderness land (Trinity Alps Wilderness). Produced 1931-1933. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a Hg deposit (Deposit model: 179: Silica-carbonate Hg), hosted in serpentinite. The ore body is comprised of fracture coatings. Little geologic information is available. Local rocks include Mesozoic gabbroic rocks, unit 2 (undivided) and/or Ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 2 (Western Sierra Nevada and Klamath Mountains).

Related tectonic structures include the Klamath Mountains.

Production data are found in: U. S. Bureau of Mines file data.
