A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the E½SW¼ sec. 35, T14N, R9E, MDM, 3.4 km (2.1 miles) SE of Weimar and 3.6 km (2.2 miles) SE of New England Mills, along the W side of Jefferson Canyon. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. This mine was claimed to have been an important producer, but no official record is available.

Mineralization is a vein deposit. The ore body is pinch & swell in form, strikes N10W and dips 52E at a thickness of 5.49 meters. The footwall is a hard dike. The vein is a few inches to 18 feet thick and carries 3% sulfides. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings with a length of 457.2 meters and an overall depth of 177.39 meters, and comprised of several adits and shafts.
