Located 4.5 kilometres south of Mount Blair. The prospect is just south of the Ashburton Downs-Meekatharra Road, just before the first major creek crossing after Mount Blair. The source states it is in low rounded hills. A small bulldozed area can be seen 100 metres south of the road. The source co-ordinates are incorrect.

Hosted by pale green shale to slate, dipping variably 10-70 degrees north. The source states the site contains an open cut 25 metres long, 2-4 metres wide, and 1-3 metres deep. This exposes malachite-limonite as blows, pods and veins. Fine grained specularite lumps can be found in the quartz.

Mined from 1951 to 1964 producing officially only 9.71 tonnes of copper and cupreous ore. When inspected in the mid 1970's piles of handpicked ore remained, although it is uncertain if this is still the case today.
