A former small surface and underground W mine located on 5 unpatented claims, West of the Chadwick's claims, in the SW ¼ sec. 27, T.18S., R.19E. First produced 1917. Owned by J. Christie (1937- ).

Mineralization is sparse, scattered wolframite, iron oxide, and pyrite in coarsely crystalline quartz veins and stringers cutting pegmatite dikes in Precambrian Pinal Schist on the northern flank of an Eastward-draining canyon. The schist strikes N10ºW and dips 80ºSE and is intruded on the SE by granite. Several pegmatite dikes trend N20º to 30ºNE through the granite & schist and are up to 15 or more feet wide. Quartz stringers in the pegmatite & other quartz stringers of N10ºE & N45ºW strike carry a little wolframite. Some of these stringers intersect the main vein which strikes N50ºE and dips 30ºNW and ranges from 5 inches (13 cm) to about 2 feet (0.6 meters) thick. The vein consists of coarsely crystalline, grayish-white quartz with mineralization. The wall rocks of the vein and of the quartz stringers have been strongly sericitized.

Local structures include schist that strikes N10W and dips 80SE, and is intruded by granite on the SE.

Workings include a 32 foot deep incline and several shallow surface openings. A few tons of tungsten ore were produced since 1937.
