Formula:
Mg-O-H-P
according to the authors, the formula may be close to Mg3(PO4)(OH)3, but the total is low
Found within a reddish aureole nearby heneuite, the aureole also containing "apatite" and althausite. The mineral forms fibers, 10 microns wide on average.
There is also a second mineral (here given as mineral 2) of a quite similar composition (uniaxial negative, low birefringence, strongly dichroic from bright blue to colourless), forming blue grains up to 0.5 mm long.
