PhD student studying geochemistry at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Graduated UC Berkeley (BA Geology, '22, BA Geophysics, '22). I have developed a profound interest in the geosciences and the hobby of mineral collecting from early childhood.

My main research interests are in geochemistry, petrology and mineralogy, specifically with mineral deposits in relation to Earth's history. Currently, I am working on a project using SEM and EPMA lab techniques and PCA modeling to deduce the source lithologies of the K-Pg Chicxulub impact from microtektites.

I am also a twelve-year standing member of the Pasadena Lapidary Society, a branch of the CFMS and AFMS, and I occasionally write articles for the club's monthly newsletter. I also participate in club-hosted field trips and educate geoscience to local schools and the surrounding community.

Beyond academia I go exploring, collecting and conducting mineralogical surveys with friends, colleagues or on my own. My mineral trips are largely based in Southern California, but sometimes in other areas as well. Particular interests lie in rare ore/secondary minerals.
