This is a good example of the paragenesis of the locality, rutile porphyroblasts in kyanite schists. Other observed minerals include quartz and pyrophyllite.

Intergrowth of albite (var:peristerite) with a microcline host, there are also minor amounts on black amphibole and red garnets (extremely difficult to spot, unless you are using a loop). Unfortunately, the seller didn't gave me more information about the locality.

The specimen has been affected by the transport downstream, but still preserve the dendritic habit and contact twin on {111}. Overall, it is a very big gold flake for this area.

Nodules of bakerite on colorless scalenohedrons of calcite, the material is a bit different from the golden tan crust covering nifontovite reported by Peter Megaw. The bakerite was confirmed with XRD and visual identification ( material resembling unglazed porcelain), the quality of the diffraction wasnt good enough to differentiate between bakerite and datolite.
