A former underground Pb-Zn-Au-Ag-Cu-V-Baryte mine located in sec. 17, T3S, R11E, about ½ mile SSW of Mineral Mountain, and just NE of the Oklahoma Mine, on BLM-administered land. Produced 1941-1949. Operated by L. Greenhaw (1942); Mr. Lewis Rahn, Tenney and Better (1943). Owned by L. Greenhaw (1943). NOTE: Alternate coordinates provided: 33.8169N, 110.4864W (large deviation).
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted hosted in Pinal Schist. Three major veins are present. The ore bodies are tabular, strike N25W, dip 70W, and are 3.66 meters wide. Mineralization age is probably the same as the Tertiary intrusions in the area. Ore control was N-S to N25° W-striking fissure veins with a dip to the west. Local structures include Tertiary intrusives around the Mineral Mountain area.
Regional structures include Tertiary quartz latite 15.8-17.4 M.Y. approximately 100 meters E of the mine.
