A much smaller mining operation likely coinciding with the nearby northern workings probably took place here around 1839-1863.

The main site is now a reclaimed field and both the shaft and Captain Kitto's house are now gone.

A partly flooded adit can be found going into the hill a distance of about 30m with a flooded winze along its course. Part of the adit is roofed with rotten timber stulls.
