Alteration: Sericitization

Tectonics: N40w Trending Fault

Deposit: A n40 W fault zone dipping 90 degrees, can be traced 125m and is approx. 1m wide in one exposure. Nbmg sample #3415 is select vein quartz and iron-stained quartz diorite from dump of the locked door adit. Nbmg sample#3416 is select quartz vein matter with limonite, malachite, jarosite, and sparse copper pitch.

Geology: Fault zone consists of brecciated quartz, gouge, & sericitized wallrock (quartz diorite). Outside the 1m mineralized zone the wallrock is fresh except for a few narrow k-feldspar envelopes along fractures.
