A former Ag-Au-Cu-Pb occurrence/mine located in the SE¼ sec. 12, T23N, R20W, G&SRM, about 9 miles West of Chloride in the eastern foothills of the Black Mountains, on Bureau of LAnd Management administered land. Discovered 1903. Reopened 1929 with ultimate closure in the 1933-34 time frame. Owned by the Pilgrim Mines, Incorporated; Treasure Vault Mining Company; and the Pioneer Gold Mining Company (1933-34). Operated by the Joint Venture of Galli Exploration Associates, Incorporated and Mohave Gold Incorporated (1986-). The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a deposit that occur within a fault zone that strikes N30W and dips 30SW. Two veins, each up to 3 feet or more wide, consisting of irregular stringers and masses of fine-grained quartz with some calcite and silicified fragments of wall rock are present. Ore consists of epithermal, fine-grained, greenish-yellow quartz. A small rich ore shoot was found on the 230 foot level in the footwall vein. Local rocks include Middle Miocene to Oligocene volcanic rocks. Andesites and rhyolites are intruded by dikes of rhyolite-porphyry.

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a 360 foot inclined shaft (before 1907). A drilling program was carried out in the 1984-1986 time frame.
