An asbestos claim on the western end of the Hance property, about 1,300 feet (ca. 396 m) above the Colorado River. This locality is not listed in the USGS MRDS database.

Mineralization is three different zones of serpentine, which are in contact with three distinct layers of limestone.

Workings include openings on the upper and lower contact of the middle seam of basaltic rock (diabase) and on the extreme upper contact. At the middle opening, a tunnel has been run for a distance of about 75 feet (ca. 23 metres) in a N10E. direction, following the pitch of the rock, which is about 10N. Crosscuts have been driven from this tunnel and there was considerable stoping. A quarry face was also opened just to the north of the portal of the tunnel for a distance of 126 feet (ca. 38 m) in length and 20 feet (ca. 6 m) in height.
