A former lode Au mine located in sec. 20, T4N, R14E, MDM, 2.2 km (1.3 miles) SSE of Sheep Ranch, on the divide between Indian Creek and San Antonio Creek (3½ miles N of Murphys; on ridge N of Indian Creek). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in mica schist. The ore body strikes N65E and dips 80S at a thickness of 0.3 meter. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).

Workings include underground openings comprised of a 60 foot shaft and a 200 foot adit.
