A former pumice mine located in the SW¼ (quarry is in the NE¼SW¼) sec. 10, T4N, R9E, MDM, 1.9 km (1.2 miles) NNE of Wallace. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters. This locality is now inundated beneath the Camanche Reservoir.

Mineralization is fine-grained, unaltered, white & gray rhyolite pumicite. There are small bands of opal in the North pit. The bedding is horizontal at the S end of the N-trending ridge. It dips 25N at the N end. The material contains 77% glass.

Workings included surface openings comprised of 2 small open pits, 15 and 8 feet deep.

Estimated tonnage of 225,000 tons of excellent quality material present.
