A Cu-Au-Fe occurrence located in the NW¼ sec. 10 & in sec. 15, T26S, R29E, MDM, 0.1 km (0.1 mile) NW of Iron Mountain (coordinates of record), near the summit of the peak, on private land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. This property was prospected for Cu in the early 1900's.

Mineralization is hosted in mica schist. The ore body is 91.44 meters wide. The ore is in pre-Cretaceous schist near a large mass of tactite.. The crest of the hill is composed of schist, quartzite and garnetized calcareous rocks. Lower areas are underlain by quartz diorite. Associated rocks include skarn (tactite). Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include surface and underground openings with a length of 79.25 meters and an overall depth of 18.29 meters and comprised of a crosscut adit driven at least 200 feet S45E beneath the large tactite zone, and a 60 foot shaft sunk on the top of the ridge (summit ?).
