A Cr occurrence/prospect located in the E½ sec. 5, T14N, R8E, MDM, 2.0 km (1.2 miles) WNW of Dew Drop, on private land. Discovered in 1918. Owned/operated by Henry Yue (1918- ). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings that consisted of a 20 foot shaft with a 25 foot drift from its bottom (1918).
In 1918, it was reported that 28 long tonas of ore had been mined and it was thought the ore body might yield as much as 300 long tons. The quantity of ore actually shipped is unknown.
