A former lode Au-Cu occurrence/mine located in the SaNW¼SE¼ sec. 7, S½SW¼ sec. 8 & in the N½NW¼ sec. 17, MDM, 1.5 km (0.9 mile) N of Ophir, N of the Ophir School and SW of Bald Hill, E of Doty Flat, on private (patented) land. The property includes several claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in granodiorite, amphibolite and schist. The ore body is 0.91 meter thick. The vein is 6 inches (15 cm) to 3 feet (0.91 meter) thick. The vein system trends NW and includes the Green Mine. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains) and/or Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 35.05 meters and comprised of one or more shafts.
